Post by lungfulls »

has anyone ever used a 1/4 jack to 1/8 jack adaptor on the 404 to make it able to be plugged into a car stereo via aux? sounds pretty interesting..

I have a cassette to 1/8" adapter in my car but so far have not had any need to make a beat while driving. Maybe tomorrow on the freeway! ;)

Oh, and I added a 1/8" headphone jack to my 404SX so won't even need the adapter. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16089&hilit=mod

All I can say is be easy with the SP's volume pot and don't try to go too low end.

Car speakers were made for listening and entertaining, not so much for beat production.

I blew out of my speakers in my truck just from making beats. Even though the sound came out loud and clear, there were low end frequencies in a raw mix that destroyed my speakers.

I guess if you have a moderate volume from the vehicle to the SP, you would be fine. But beware when you make a dope killer beat, because you just wanna blast that and showcase it around the neighborhood, that behavior is what killed my speakers so watch out. :)
