Sp-303 Sample-making Program Help
I'm buying an Sp-303 and was wondering what program(s) I could use to make samples by taking a part of another song. If anyone could help me out that'd be great.
hey dude,
there are a ton of options depending on what you want. it sounds like you only need a simple audio editor, so i'd recommend audacity. its free, pretty powerful, and has some good options for effects.
but yeah, any audio editor would let you drag a file in and isolate the part you wanna sample.
good luck.

audacity is cool. the best is get another 303 a phat memory chip 32 is good ..
and the record your beats into there. then transfer them to pc. with the sp 505 when you try to load the card on pc the 505 samples are in .sp0 format. i didnt turn my 505 on in a while and the 303 is lent out to a ninja, . would someone like to confirm this? can you record a sample in the 303 and transfer it to pc as wav?
