u can use one or both sample's , no synth, vocal samples are allowed and outside drums are allowed, the deadline for submissions will be sunday june 16th.

great samples and very inspiring entries so far...

two quick question because this is my first battle... so outside drums means I can record drum hits using an external mic into the SP in order to chop them? then, the FAQ says I can use an external chain for mastering... so is it allowed to abuse that in terms of squashing etc? thanks :-D

yo was so overwhelmed with activating the right sequences and the right samples at the right time :-D

I tried using some MFX but failed miserably... next time!

all samples from the first one, although I loved the chick corea one too!! The bass line is supposed to be a quote from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt ("In the Hall of the Mountain King", http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLp_Hh6DKWc), but I was missing some notes

drums are either sampled from vinyl or miked. Cheers!
