All this spam because this site needs to be updated. Mods could only zap away the threads but Keesj needs to fix the holes where the rats come in, so that they'll never come back.

depending if these are people or bots, there is ways to deal with them, I have been playing cat and mouse with spammers and bot spam attack for over 5 years, the easyest way to trick the bots is just write little simple javascripts for like the post button and register button,

if they are humans, the best way is to just delete them forever or maybe try some abnormal psychology, like have some heads on a stick all over the place

On another forum I visit, they use a custom challenge which appears the first time an account is made and then periodically when coming back to prevent hijacking another person's account.

It's sort of like captcha, but doesn't have any crazy characters to type. It asks actual questions that a bot wouldn't be able to process and three types of questions. For instance...

1.) What color is most associated with grass, money and weed?
2.) How many days are in April?
3.) What gas do all living creatures breathe?
4.) Are you a spam bot?

Any one of those 4 questions could be asked. Again, the first time you sign up, you'll have to answer this question for sure and periodically before you post something, you'll have to answer just in case of a human creating the account then hiring their kitchen-assassin-bot. It seems to work well where it's used. IDK.

I still don't understand how people think that this form of 'advertising' is even worth while. It's the digital equivalent of having someone shit in a bag, set it on fire and leave it on your doorstep after ringing the doorbell and running and the bag has an advertisement on it for new kitchens. Seriously. All it does is piss off the dude who has to stamp the fire out and the advertisement is half unreadable after the ordeal, if at all.

Sometimes it makes you wonder just how much more capacity for hatred of people in general is in me...and then the bots let me know I have a bit more room.

Unless they are using a proxy server someone should be able to hack the spammer......but I suspect it is some smart ass that visits this forum and not a legitimate advert. People seem into subrosa activities around here
