Sp 555 + Sp 404

I just revently got a 404 og
Ivd been ob the 555 the longest
Few questions:

1.copying samples from a pad to another?

2.importing samples to pc?

The vinyl sim on the 404 is crazy
You could really distinguish that durty ish

I also got the mpd 26 to control my 555
But when i hook it up via midi
The mpd trigger a different pad

I.e pad 2 for sp is triggered by pad 1 from mpd
And so forth

I just made my own preset on the mpd26 to trigger the 404, the MIDI chart's in the SPI section. Or just dial through the MIDI notes while triggering a pad on the mpd, until the right pad triggers on the 404 and save it as a preset on the mpd.

Thats the only problem with my mpd the
screen doesnt work so i dunno if i could
Map the midi thru the 555 to trigger the right
pad with corresponding pad.

If you've got the editor disc you could hook it up to a computer and make you're own preset that way. Obviously having no screen you'd have to make sure you save it somewhere that will be easy to navigate to. I'm not sure whether you can overwrite the first preset, but I know you so can set it so a certain preset/scene will open as a default when you turn it on.

i downloaded the vysex editor and tried to map each pad
on the mpd and save it but everytime i unplug it on the pc
and hook it up on the sp 555 it still does the same thing.

what am i doing wrong?
is there a proper process
in assigning midi notes on the mpd and
how to save it properly?
