EFX knobs on 303 not working correctly

Post by fresh-produce »

My middle knob doesn't seem to work correctly. It is very apparant on the delay effect. When I attempt to use it it seems like it only has one setting, all the way up. Also When I try to re-sample in lofi mode there is no sound, or the sound is very quite. Any ideas?

You can use a small flat head screwdriver to lift the knob off, after you remove the knob make sure there is not any gunk around the potentiometer.
If you find anything clean it off with a q-tip or something similar, you can also open the case and further inspect the potentiometer and how the solder connections look. Worst case if it was the potentiometer you would need a replacement soldered on. I'm not quite sure what would cause your lo-fi mode to make the signal level drop after being applied or whether your two issues are related or not. Interesting
