new 202

Post by a.D. »

So I just walked into the pawnshop down the street, they had a 202 so I went ahead and bought it for 120 (little too much I know, but they were asking 150!) Gave my zoom st to my son recently so I needed something w pitch control, and I've always wanted to see what its like,I'm pretty excited. First thing I noticed is pads 4 and 8 cut eachother off, like an mpc mute group..is this a glitch,or is it supposed to do it? Or are all the pads supposed too? Anyway, this thing seems super dope :) another thing I just saw is it actually shows you the bpm of a loop as u adjust the pitch, that's ill, really convenient. And this Lo fi 1 sounds sick..which I already knew of course, but its cool hearing it first hand for the first time. Anyway-- if anyone could give me some insight on the pad cutoff thing i'd really appreciate it,thanks!
