Sp-202 vs Sp-404

I am looking at getting an Sp-202 right now because of how cheap and portable they are but the only downside is the memory of it. Should I just save up for the sp-404?

The 202 is very limited. search The forums for more info but as long as you don't want to record to tape or your computer between each step in your workflow you probably want a 404. especially if you want to do those beat stutter fx and vinl sim compression (I'm guessing from ur other post)

I'm constantly thinking about getting a 202 to go with my 404 recently. Reckon it'd open up possibilities for live stuff, anyone use this setup?

their both great. the 404 is what i'd go with if i could only have one.
the only things the 202 does that the 404 doesn't is better pitch and sounds dirtier. i love the 202 sound, i'm probably gonna get one but only since i already own the 404.
