404 sx... About real-time time-stretch/time-modify

Hi! I'm new here.
I am thinking to buy a 404sx. I would like load some instrumentals tracks on it and slave it to my MPC 2500, but what happens with the time-stretch?
I have been reading the manual, but I'm still confused about that. If I'm playing one of this instrumentals @125, and I change the master tempo from the mpc, to 126 bpms, will it affect to the instrumental bpm?

If I am not completely wrong you just can influence the bpm of the pattern sequencer via midi...
