202 tips anyone?
I would love if yall would share some of your methods of getting specific sounds on the 202. Trying to get a bit more creative with these beats yeah

sounds or u mean ways of usin it cuz it has one sound really.... Its sometimes nice to keep drums in standard vs lofi 1 if ur samples are lofi 1 so you dont lose some hats but depends always... i found lofi 1 drums peaked out can be dirty yum... dontshy to peak on it especially if u peaking drums n recording samples at lower levels for compression

be more specific...like list some songs w/ sounds you like and the time they happen and link to youtube or something and ppl might be able to help

Don't forget you can use the pitch effect on top of the other effects, and you can make some cool combos. Also you can use "mark-tapping" as like a 7th effect. tap the mark button in quick succession for a little stutter step (make sure your sample is in loop function). although, this can fuck with your timing, so you have to be a little brave.

I'll share a tip I've been using recently. You can use filter 2 to give kicks and snares more snap with an appropriate setting for each sample. Great makeshift EQing device, as far as the 202 is concerned.
