Any other dust/k-head producers here?
so ya i'm a dust head on and off, i've seen a lot of references hidden throughout hip hop to dust. such as method man "tical" is lace it backwards, tame one talks about it all the time, rza was hooked, jayo felony got that sherm stick song, etc. i go on a dust binges a couple time a year and usually end up with some crazy shit. here's a couple tracks i did on a recent dust bender with me on a sampletrak and dj jagermaster on a 303.

I don't do dust or k. But I love getting spizzed on crunkle and sometimes I even chofe spobe.
Re: Any other dust/k-head producers here?
Actually man, tical is a dusted blunt..which is what inspired method man to write the song...most of Wu was experimenting w angel dust in the early nineties, and method wrote that song high on it..pretty well known " Wu lore" look up the Wu manual if u feel like it,I rember rza had a chapter on drug experimentation--which for me is where use of heavy drugs should start and end-- on the experimental level,or for creative purposes.i feel that if any drug can be done responsibly, and not simply recreationally, but w a purpose...there's nothing wrong w that imo..and honestly hard drugs have played a big part in some of the biggest artistic and spiritual contributions throughput history.shit, the majority of them, from shamens ,mystics & medicine men to painters, writers poets and musicians.and art effects more lives than than any other form of communication.something to be said for that...that being said, people have to be educated on what drugs they're doing, and realize fully what they're getting into.trust me I know firsthand..so I'm not blindly firing drug endorsements here. I believe in the bennefits, but I know I gotta be aware of the dangers too.

Who's not being temperate? And what ladies are u reffering to? Just to be clear,I don't Fuck w wet & dust..just don't see a problem w anyone using drugs as creative tools,as long as they know what they're doing.people tend to have a misconception that just because someone uses some hard drugs, that they have a problem,or that it must be an addiction.this definitely is not the case w a lot of people ,especially w a lot of artists and writers.I've written most of my best rhymes in seriously altered mindstates, while having the most impactful spiritual experiences of my life .at this point though ,when I sit down for long sessions my survival kit is mountain dew,a bunch of candy and ciggarettes...maybe a little herb.

On the other hand,it wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the drugs.obviously I see what you're saying..but some artists actually see inviting demon hell spawn into your life to be worth the sacrifice,if it gets that deep.sgt. pepper wouldn't exist without LSD..or doors classics..pink Floyd wouldn't exist at all.cocaine played a big part I'm miles Davis most experimental work,Marvin gaye as well..and countless rock classics.hieroglyhics early work, namely del was heavilly influenced by psychadelics,as well as cats like divine styler and everlast. Hell Kurt cobains best work wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for heroine..obviously the list goes on..but also obvious is the fact that the majority of those artists took things into excess..still there's no denying that drugs played a significant role in the art.again, people just gotta be educated and aware, and use some of these people as examples of how far NOT to take it.and I'm someone that's never been the same since an LSD induced psychosis 15 years ago-- and it gets ugly sometimes.but I didn't know what the hell I was doing, had no education at all on how to do it properly..so I'm not advocating drugs, but responsible drug use for those that choose to do them, cause honestly there's a few ways the LSD changed me for the better as well. But you know,to each his own.

Yea,they can most definitely be a dangerous road..and pschedelics can be just as dangerous ,I'm living proof- and I've seen dudes in hospitals that have been there since the 60s and 70s,lost their shit on acid and never came back . I really don't like it at all when people talk about just the bennefits of LSD and shrooms, but never the dangers...like psychosis is never mentioned in pro LSD literature. So I mean bottom line is u just gotta be fully aware of every aspect of this stuff, and if u ever get to the point where you're using any hard drug strictly to get high or function ,u gotta knock that shit off..but anyway,yea..I never followed cage too closely ,but I know those last few albums he did before going all emo including the shit w tame one were all dope.

Nobody ever mentions the dangers of any drug. Its not hip.
Re: Any other dust/k-head producers here?
my creative tools are tea, coffee and PB&J on toast, i talk a good game when i'm fucked up but, except for DJing, musicianship disappears. Tried to re string a guitar on acid once, didn't happen
