Flash Card Trouble

Has anyone had sound prblems when sampling to the Flash card?

I have a 1 gig Kingston flash card, and whenever I sample to one of the flash card banks, there is an incessant clicking noise that sounds terrible, rendering the sample useless.

Could it be the flash card, or do you think there is a problem with the actual Sp-404?

i know this is probably obvious to you but if the internal banks sound good then its a good possibility its the card.

Try initalizing the card and the internal memory of the sampler then try sampling onto the card again, if you're importing sample with the card make sure that all the samples are at 16bit 44.1khz and in .wav or .aiff format.
