SP-606 vs SPD-S for phrase sampling ?

Hi,

I'm set on getting a SP-606, but then remembered that I had been looking at the SPD-S a while ago as well. Both can use 512MB worth of memory, which is nice for longer phrases (I'll be using that). Any thoughts why I might be better off with the SPD-S instead ? It's not the same beast, I know, but was wondering about people using the SPD-S as well.
