pattern sequence question

Post by LAZER BEAR »

I see people talkin about doing 99 bar patterns with no metronome, my question is how do i turn off the metronome? When i turn the bpm all the way down it just goes 40 and when i turn it all the way up it goes to 200. Im using a 404sx . Is it just not possible to turn it off with the sx?

When the metronome is sounding in recording mode, use CTRL 3 to change the volume of it. You can turn it all the way down!

Yeah, you can't actually turn it "off", just turn the volume to nothing like preqwal said.

Man I wish you could change the metronome sound, the 404's is annoying...

You could turn the volume of the metronome down and sample whatever click you want, quantize it to quarter notes, and bam... new metronome sound. Its kind of a lot of work for something that doesnt matter that much though. Just an idea

i just use an external metronome, that way even if you're using the resample method you can hear it
Samples.
