First and foremost

Post by shmoaf »

New to the site as well as my baby- SP-404. I look forward to checkin out what other people have done and maybe pick-up some techniques. I posted some of my first attempts using the SP-404. Its all done using only the 404, no overdubs! I sampled everything myself. The beats were takin from a reel to reel of my friend and I jammin a couple years ago. This is only the begining- let me know whatchya think

 okay- I threw up a smigg of intrumental stuff I do. Meddlee is just me and my RC-20 looper, soulution is a work in progress, but I did it all.
Ultimately I'm using the SP-404 for my live act. I'll sing and play while the SP plays the beat and 'supplement'. It is workin out very well- I'll post some of that stuff someday.....

Yeah, I had a friend ask me to do some live shows recently but I prefer to play live at home and record it.

I came here to get some opinions- any--- positive or negative. I know I need to be patient- seems like most the stuff on here is a different genre :?:

I like all your music, but sometimes people lag around here for giving opinions. When I first came here it took a while for me to get some reviews, just hang in there for a little.

I'm feelin the tracks, Keep doing your thing. There is really only 2 genres, GOOD and bad. By the way I like Rough solution the best. Peace, Duss.

Very fresh stuff, nice upbeat music. This definitely sounds good, good electronica music. I especially like 'knew hottness'.

Vynal Duss is right by the way, there's really only two genres of music. :D

Cheers

Some knewwer stuff up- TVSTV, againstagain are more manipulations off reel to reels on the SP-404. UTG was done from bootleg frootyloopps and ass-id programs back in high school. Chopped and loaded on the SP-404 to be reknewd. I'm working on loadin up some of my jams and intsrumental stuff onto the SP to be realeased. Thanks for the comments!

Yeah, the music here is focused heavily on Hip Hop but we all love different kinds of music and the site benefits from more diversity in all ways. So if you know more sp users that are making music you don't hear on the site send 'em over so the whole community can grow.
