Greetings all.

figured I'd post a tune along with a short intro.

Born and raised in South Africa. Started out on fruityloops years back... then discovered hardware while on business in Austria. Now I shun software like the plague. I'm principally a Korg Electribe MX-1 user. Started with the EMX, then got myself a Kaoss pad 3 and then... the SP404. My production isn't very sample heavy but I want to get to the level where I could use my 404 standalone. I also have an MPC2500.. but to be honest I prefer the 404 for sampling.

currently working towards an all hardware live set with my 2 EMX at the core, Kaoss pad for some FX and the 404 predominantly for long vocal one-shots but I might start writing some new tracks using the 404 more.

here's a track I put together using the 404 and electribe MX. The bass wobbles where sampled from the EMX then sequenced back with it.. nothing fancy. please excuse the terrible sound quality: I passed everything thru an effects pedal instead of being clever and bussing only the parts I wanted to be crunchy.
