I beg to differ. The sp works well as a multitracker if you sync with a midi clock using your daw and sp sequencer. Record all the elements separately with multiple passes.

It's no mpc with multiple outs but you can thugg it with the sp. don't limit yourself.

**this does NOT work with the re-sample method of building your tracks ..you could always upgrade by purchasing WoW gold which would give you multi outs on your sp and default your status to a level 12 Mage

I track out the 404 into ableton. If I've got a pattern for instance of drums, samples, synth etc, I'll apply the sub sonic effect on the sounds that I don't want. You can use this effect to effectively mute the sounds you don't need. Then just record and repeat for each "track"

you can as long as u keep stuff on separate pads. ie dont resample down to 1 pad, but resample each track separately,
