Whenever I turn my turntable mixer on or off, it triggers my SP to start playing the pattern.
I unplug connection from my mixer to the SP and it still does it.
What the hell is going on? Why am I getting wireless midi signals lol

sounds cool, i saw something like this about a decade ago, with a mixer and a drum machine, the knob turnings would trigger drum sounds, sometimes. i would use the 4 channel mix e r as a bass sythenziser by make different feed back loops and mess with the knobs,

it seems something that has to do with the Ext button. i remember something quite similar happened to me with the sp505. but that time was the Ext button that triggered -arbitrarly- external sounds...

Re: My SP is haunted
this can happen when both units are sitting on the same electr. socket.
is there a midi signal for pattern start on the 606? because 555,404,303 can't do that...
i love such things. homie once had a car, whenever you had put on the light the windows went down also... thats some different stuff though

Re: My SP is haunted
That shit happened to me when I accidently plugged the left jack into the footswitch. Every time I played a record, the pattern would be triggered.
I think somehow, the footswitch is getting a signal from the mixer.

Shit, that makes total sense! Check page 20 of the manual for the connections diagram & 81 for system settings. Having external audio act like a CV on the 606 could be really useful!Ill Green wrote:That shit happened to me when I accidently plugged the left jack into the footswitch.
