Smartmedia Corrupt?

Post by ceedubs »

Hey guys,

I have been messing around with my sp-303 for a few weeks now and I think I have come across a problem. I was making a beat on bank B when I decided to check some of my stuff out on bank C and D. Everything I pressed made white noise. I decided to turn it off and on and now it wont even let me access banks C and D. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
C

i suppose you have yet formatted the card.
if it's so, then try to update the 303's OS on boss site.
who knows...

Is corruption a common issue with smartmedia cards for the Sp-303. If it is, it is one of the only problems with the sp-303...I love this thing lol

Yah it's fairly common for smart media cards to go bad. Get yourself an extra one or two and you'll be set.

Also when it does that take the card all the way out and push it back in. Sometimes the eject button will get bumped and the machine won't read the card.
