Lo-fi recording tip

Post by genn bo »

so i've noticed one thing about long/lo-fi recording.
If you prelisten (REC pressed) with long/lo-fi on, the sound is kinda missing some higher frequencies (compared to long/lo-fi off). if you record - those missing frequencies are somehow replaced with crunchiness. maybe that's an obvious thing to notice, but i found that prelisten lo-fi sometimes works better for me and I sample through it into Renoise (software).
