Linking 2 sp404 sx's

Can you and is there any benefit to midid linking two sp404sx's together?

404 only has midi in, so you can't hook up 2 together that way, but you could use something else like a sequencer with midi outs to control them. if your controller is velocity sensitive it will treat the sp that way too. unfortunately you can't record patterns with an external controller... actually i've never used an sx before so maybe i'm wrong.

you could resample your performance with one 404 into the other via rcas and the velocity would still be dynamic.
