#1 expected it to be corny as hell..... LOVED it.

#2 was pissed there were only like 6 episodes.

@Tim... 6 eps was a bit hurtful, lol... there's so much to see with this series that those for episodes barely scratched the surface.

you should read the graphic novel if you can... it's much better than the show because there are no limits and it really puts you in the state of mind of "would i do this or that to survive too?"


@teewok i just slept through the WHOLE premier, lol. had a big birthday party for my kids this morning and im beat... gonna see if the encores still running.

Yeah, i watched em as they came out, but 6 fucking episodes. They finally do a zombie series right and only do 6 episodes. The budget musta been high because the zombies were great tho other stuff looked pretty cheap like blood and some green screen shots. But it was good. I could tell the characters would begin to get annoying, didnt really like any of them but it had a good setup only to fall flat with 6 eps.

yeah the budget is kinda shakey because of MAD MEN, if any of you ever watch that... apparently they suck up most of amc's budget for shows and Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and a few others are suffering because of it. it's been in the news...

but i strongly suggest reading the novel, you can get it at most libraries cuz the books are 20 a pop. I'm telling you all right now... if you think the shits been rough so far you dont know shit, lol. the book has a few issues where no zombies are seen and some pretty heinous stuff happens at the hands of other human beings... like cannibals and crazy cult leaders... it get pretty tough.

Yeah I read like the first 10 or so and I liked the show but I really think the characters are done better on paper and also seems like they dumbed it down for TV a little but shit's dope no doubt.

in the next episode i think they meet up with a new group of people... im thinking it was one of them. on another forum people were saying the boy has a much bigger tougher role in the graphic novels than in the show so far.. so he probably isnt dead. watched episode one last night of the new season... pretty good so far.

he does... but Robert Kirkman himself said that it was going to be different in the show so idk how thats gonna play... but you are right they do meet up with others...
