So I been looking for another Sp for a while now or just a new toy in general for my birthday coming up next week...didn't wanna spend over $200 really.
So first try I buy an Sp 202 from a pawn shop...shit looks really bad dirty scuffed up knobs feel loose...I had a bad feeling about this one but I bought it. $80...got home dosent even turn on!... Not even with batterys! Fuck it
I return it next day ...thank god
Next bought another 505 for $120...it looked brand new !...but wen I got home the 1st control knob didn't work...u know the one that controls the compression on the vinyl sim...can't live without that!
Next was a Sp 303 from guitarcenter...shipped from Spokane...now that one was rough too at least it had a 8mb card ...wrong power supply and the head phones didn't work and right input didn't work and volume knob stayed on high...POS! Just kept the card...sent it back.
Finally sum guy on craigslist is selling his 303 for 100 bucks!...now this one I know I can't return...so I'm hesitant...get ther guys nice as can be..has his own little garage band goin on and said he hadn't used it in years...I expected it to be dusty and dirty and I was surprised !...it was brand new like he just pulled it out the box! Had a 32mb card too!...I was like how much again?...he said 75$$$$$... I could barley contain my excitement Yo!
Snatched it up and I'm on my way to work now..just hope I don't get robbed on the train tonight......

Nice grab. Personally, I would have kept sp's 1 through 3, but then again I live in Portland, ME, where finding even one sp is like *whoa*...

Hell yeah, i read! Nice one. Everyone loves the 303, i might need to get one, hopefully when i move to san fran there will be a bunch of dudes sellin sp's.

Ha ha thanks dude!
The tascam is used mainly to record either drum patterns on and to also record whole songs/beats as a final place to keep them on. I then record them from the tascam into the mpc1000 and send it thru usb to pc to upload.
Maybe when i have kids some day they'll find my lost beat tapes and be like what is this for ?

SP-303 is the shit!!! You got it for quite the bargain!! I paid $200 for mine used a few years ago. No card was included. $75 for a like new unit plus a card is a come up!!
