Pattern volume (SP 404sx)

Hi guys, simple question (hopefully)

I recorded a pattern and want to play some samples over it.

Now is the pattern too loud - or the samples are too soft, even though volume is on max - I guess I recorded the samples too soft...

Anyway, is there a possibility to change either the one or the other?

Not that I'm aware, but then I've not been using this particular machine long. Far as I know the only way of doing it would be lowering the level of each individual sample you are using in the pattern. If you want to recorded samples too quiet you could always use the fx to boost them, isolator, eq, compressor, etc.
