How to export patterns?

hello, i'm new to the forums, and my 404 i'd really appreciate some help. I've lurked throughout the forum, trying to find a way to export a pattern, and found a tutorial but the youtube account was deleted. i just bought a m audio fast track 4x4 sound card to record my patterns to audacity, but have had no luck with it. is there any one who can help me with this? It would be most appreciated, thanks.
