So I was feeling the George Clinton track on the 8 Diagrams so I decided to take it to GarageBand for quick funk track, 'cause I have some nice synth packs in there. I used a loop for the funk guitar and the bass, but I can't deal with those fucking drumloops they got in there so I load some chopped drums from audacity and sequenced them to the loops, I consider it cheating in comparison to the 303 work but I like to not stay stagnant on one machine. I'll post another Sp joint in a little, I'm working on a slighty different arrangement process.

Yeah, I took a break off the sp for a day but I'm back at it like a crack habit.
I had to chop and program my drums though to not be too lazy, garageband has horrible beat loops.

No, my physical equipment is limited to the 303 a cheap belt-drive turntable and a Sony stereo cassette-corder from back in the day. That bass was a royalty free garageband loop so I jacked like the pirate I am. Arrggg

but the end result is dope, no matter what use to make that beat...gotta use what at your disposal so it's all gravy train... 8) can garage band transpose & change the clip speed of the loops? i know on apple soundtrack you can...

Yes, it has a lot of dope feature and I love to sequencer 'cause it reminds me of Acid pro which pretty nice with but with the whole mac convenience of things just being logical and easy. Thanks for the feedback everyone, much respect.
