Random Thoughts

Post by MechaLove »

Could we have a random thoughts thread lol? Anything you just want to talk about that doesn't necessarily deserve it's own thread?

To start lol, I was writing some notes down on some ish and I came on here to find some music to listen to while I was writing. I ended up with that Hwang Jang Lee tape and ended up dinking around on here for so long lol. I guess the internet will do that to a person. Day's almost gone and I didn't even cook or do anything I was supposed to yet. I got that ish on repeat though, it's so good, if you didn't check it out already, you should

So I was having a political "debate" with one of my old friends friends (a girl in her early 20's) on facebook, lol. She was obviously one of those people that just recently started reading radically themed literature, became aware of our country's true past, revolutionaries and activists of the past,etc...and was just slinging around a bunch of anarchy bullshit regurgitated from books. Anyway,in the course of this she called me "ill educated". After i thought for a couple seconds, i realized this would make a dope ass name for a song or album. "Ill Educated" ...yea- :D

Misdirected neo-liberalism is a dangerous thing, pseudo-anarchists have turned a lot of peaceful protests for good causes into Smash The State! riots.

Random thought: I just watched 2012 (the movie) for the first time and my stoner self thinks they made it bad on purpose to distract people from what's REALLY going to happen in 2012.

Whats really gonna happen in 2012?but yea, that movie was an absolute peice of worthless garbage-sooo fucking ridiculous. My girl was watching it,i was like "turn that shit off!!",lol..wouldn't let the kids watch it-it's like everyones worse fear (that fears 2012)magnified 10 times & rolled into one giant piece of exploitive hollywood propoganda. These types of movies continue to add weight to my theory/paranoia that major hollywood film companies and actors have possibly been working right along side the government for years-even when it comes to movies that come across as anti-government on the surface. They just continue to add to peoples fears,or make people think that the plots are so ridiculous that they could only be dreamed of in a hollywood studio(i.e. denzel washington and tom hanks movies of the last 5 or so years, shit like that)...i've wondered for a long time if the blacklisting of a bunch of hollywood actors and screenwriters that started back in like the 1940's was the beginning of major hollywood studios and american government working hand and hand to manipulate the people and the times . Kinda crazy to think about.

You honestly can't front on what happened in seattle in the late 90's though-people took to the streets,a huge number of them being anarchists along with other activists-there was a lot more than just peaceful protesting going on,and they were actually victorious in changing a few ways in which world trade functions...then again-the majority of these particular anarchists weren't the "pseudo" type in any way.Another reason i moved to seattle-i know there's a lot of people on some real shit when it comes to activism.i still wanna become involved in an activist group/organization that includes all races-funny how a lot of anarchist types around the country seem to all wear the same uniform and are white..a lot of times even racist. And the idea of complete anarchy is absolutely unrealistic.

If we're all wrong...it's only because of the world we were born into. could be wrong though,i guess.

^ reminds me of Miyamoto Musashi's 5 rings if I remember correctly, it said the whole world is sick, and in order to understand it to win combat physicly and spiritullly is to become sick with the world and even sicker to be able to win. which leads to a quagmire of sickness we all live in .

Interesting...never heard of him but that's complete truth. Although ideally imo it should be more about understanding the sickness and where it comes from without adding to the sickness yourself-that could possibly lead to a personal vicory-but not one that'll be for the betterment of anyone but yourself. It's best we keep our own personal little sicknesses to ourselves, for the most part at least, there's always exceptions.I like a lot of philosophers, but at some point in their philosophies there's always at least one or two gaping holes in them.

But yea, ideally we would all live completely self sufficiantly, our days would be spent providing ourselves with lifes neccessaties & doing the things we love..money wouldn't exist and we would live on a system of barter and trade. you know, something pretty simmilar to how it was in america before europeans arrived. Unfortunately this is basically a complete impossibility...

so if i had a choice,i never woulda known about modern technology,or fast food,or credit cards,or class systems,or political parties,or internet squirting porn (speaking of gaping holes). But i do..and that's the sickness of the world we live in. That's what's wrong...
