never did that.... but all it says is update preset no response . Can I fix the problem? Boss Co. says I have to take it to a authorize dealer in my area...Trying not to get hit in the head feel me ...

I think its an internal memory problem. But you could try reinstalling the O.S. Roland has an updated version that you can download from their site. Be sure to follow the instructions.
If that aint it then someone tried to hack into the internal memory trying to erase the presetted patterns and sounds and corrupted it.
