Crazy, lol, I had just been up late checking some older kev brown/low budget shit on you tube, and a newer vid where he mentioned this album but I hadn't checked it yet. Then i hear the m.c. spit a few lines mad simmilar to some new shit i got, just flipped differently, lol. But good looking man, this is ill- he did the same with lmno on a james brown album-i'm feeling this cat a lot more on the rhymes though.

ahh i think he's all good, looked like he was just tired,or had his mind on other things at the time of the vid. He's probably getting a little tired of doing all the damn you tube shit anyway,lol-or maybe he's even trying to show people they can still be chill and calm & the midst of all the madness we've been going through lately by staying doing the things we're passionate about, tucked away in the lab,who knows. This is my man right here,lol-i been saying it,but to me the whole low budget crew and his affiliates are doing the best hip hop out right now hands down.Still can't believe my man stik signed to mello music, shit's crazy.

Word up man. Kev and the whole Low Budget crew are some of the illest. Kev is def one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to beats -- and NO he is not the reason why I got the 2kxl

And that's right you are from Kansas, so Stik was in your neck of the woods? you knew him?

yea man,I posted about his ep a while back--we've been on a couple of the same projects-one of em was the 2008 tape "chainsmoke"-by johnny quest (out of lawrence ks)-i know there's a link to it out there but i haven't been able to find it since i downloaded it a couple months ago. if you happen to find it,keep in mind some songs had to be sped up to fit onto the cd,mine being one of them, and my voice sounds mad high pitched, lol. But anyway...he was my absolute favorite cat on a personal level out of that whole kc/ks scene-really good people, and it's not that fake humble shit you get from so many hip hop artists..I mean stik wanted to just quit altogether several times, though he's mad young-but he kept at it. I first saw him spit when he was about 18,he wasn't super dope then, but kept working & writing, and now he's pretty amazing.Deserves all the success he can get-he fits in perfect with oddisee..and who knows, maybe if I ever get my shit back together & finally finish my new stuff he can lend me some kind of hand-actually he would always encourage me more than almost anyone out there...
