Hey, im new to the 404 so forgive me if this is a stupid question. Ive scoured the forums for an answer but so far, no good.
Im trying to sync up long loops from the 404 to my mpc2500. I chopped my samples in PT so i know they are perfect. I imported the samples onto the 404 via the program it comes with. The 404 completely guessed the tempos wrong on all of the samples. When I play those samples in a pattern, the tempo does not effect the sample (no time stretching or anything). From what I've read, this is common and not really an issue.
So now I want to sync up the patterns I made to the MPC's clock. When I do this, the patterns sound slightly out of time with the click track in the MPC. Some samples sound more accurate than others, which is also weird. I had quantization on when these patterns were made so they should play perfectly.
Could the 404 be slightly time stretching the samples?
