i just realize today that i couldn't listening to this track....so my vote is not complete, but at this point i think it's too late...what happened to the track?
after the voice snippet debacle I changed the url to withdraw from the event
if you still wanna listen it's
here
after I did I realized the host also used speech so I don't even know if I actually broke the rules now or not, but I figured there was no point to try to awkwardly slide back into the event
thanks
(even if i don't see where is the problem...i used voices too...)

well until we hear from Bob, I speculate there's 2 possible scenarios:
1) The rules did in fact imply no speech snippets and then a huge percentage of entries used them anyway, regardless of if it was intentionally rule-fudging or just miscommunication, and he was so disappointed in all of us that he just used dialogue in his beat as well. If this is the case I feel bad in both that it happened and spoiled his host, and that I used one myself.
2) perhaps Bob intended speech snippets to be fair game from the beginning and simply meant no instrument samples, then this entire thing has been a gross misunderstanding

That's it but I wasn't disappointed. After listening to the most beats and hear they use vocal samples, I used one too. I just would be disappointed (and think they should getting disqualified) if anyone use outside music or drum samples.

I'm cool if we all which we used outside samples we should be disqualified. We didn't respected rules so I m OK with that. Next time we should ask to the host what and what not to use. We used to do that from time to time in old battles
Just simple thoughts

The winner is
Green Dutch
for the next battles though everyone should follow the rules tighter and vote accordingly if you hear a disqualification.
