Hey guys,
I want to record my beats straight from the 505 into the iPad...and maybe arrange and mix the beats too...and sort of create a mix/beat tape in the end. Kinda like ableton live let's you do.
Which app should I steer towards...GarageBand?
Sorry very new to ipad.

Yeah looked thru all that and it's all about actually making beats in the iPad , like samplin and synths...

I think you gotta grab one of those audio interfaces for the ipad. The rest is just recording. Ive never doen it before but they have so many apps for multitracking its ridiculious. Make sure you do your research and grab a good one.
