What's good about it? I heard machine isn't really as cool as it was made out to be so what makes Imaschine stand out. I really just dig the synth apps and the ones with great gm midi tones. All the sample based ones seem like it would just be better with hardware or computers, tho sp are probably outshines with some of the time stretch and pitch and sequencing of such apps as beat maker and nano studio. Why does Imaschine stand amongst those.
Re: Best Ipad/pod/phone Beat Making Apps.
Well, I'm still playing with imaschine, but it is def an easy app for making beats. One of the easiest, actually. And it's actually fun, as opposed to tedious. These iPhone apps need to be simple, and powerful, and I can see that it is no easy task for developers.
The cool thing is that they are cheap enough to try, and not lose your shirt over it if it sux.

WTF

imaschine is worth it at 99 cents, but its not too great. pretty good little romper with minor sampling capabilities. I'm just sampling all the drum sound out of it to use in my other samplers.
Re: Best Ipad/pod/phone Beat Making Apps.
Does anyone know why I can't find a good sample manager so I can dump all my drums in it without having them looping like in the regular Ipod music app.

Re: Best Ipad/pod/phone Beat Making Apps.
i use beatmaker 2 for that. Thought i wouldnt buy it just to manage my samples but i had it anyways for everything else and realized that i could manage my samples with it. I uploaded em all and then use it to sample then from, like a folder full of drumhits that i search through and sample into my 404. Also, i have a bunch of shit i grabbed from records over the years and i can chop it in beatmaker, time stretch and pitch em real quick, then sample that. Also i can set up regions and break up my drum chops and sample em separately. I dont like to just have drum hits laying around, id rather re-chop it every time i need it, so i have a fresh look on the hits and beatmaker is great for that.
Long Version over.

Awww. Well there are so many why Imaschine try some thing else as sonic producer. I am sure you are going to love it. It is with some of the great customizing options. It is appreciated by many of the music lovers.

nood questions:
does any telephone could use those damn applications (app means applications?)? if not there are good (and cheap) alternatives to the iphone?

Hey Ella, no only Apple. App does mean application, but usually it refers to an Apple app. YOu could get an iPod touch to run the apps, they are not too expensive. First gen iPad maybe?

The thing that makes Apple mobile devices great is Core Audio, it's the same audio drivers as theirs computers and what makes mac superior for music imo. Android is finally releasing some crude music apps, but they are just not built for it like the apple joints.

iPhone 4S has catapulted Apple into second place among operating systems based on the last 12 weeks of sales. However, if you just look at the month of October, Apple took a whopping 42.8% share of all smartphone sales, giving it a significant lead over Android". Another figure that has emerged is that of all of the new iPhone 4S purchases 75% were by people who had previously owned an iPhone. This illustrates that the company have established tremendous brand loyalty and this bodes well for future handset releases such as the anticipated iPhone 5 in 2012.

wow, thanks for this precise statistics. this makes me fear: now we will have just one company for the future?
