deem, i am going to get this little beast. i just listened to some of the recordings and while i am not an audio engineer so i might not notice some small problems with the recordings but for the price its the best.

all records all clean and the surround recording is dope too. ill tool. will come in handy through all my life as i like to record something and then few years later listen to it again. i usually record stuff with mic more often then i take photos with digital camera.

wow, those little things got pitch control?
Does it have a real pitch control or does it have bad sound quality like the SPs?

those gemini samplers look cool too

i havent tried the gemini one yet but my friend owns one, the look of it makes me think it has like standard turntable style pitching

Yeah, I'm saving for some AKG's and that video game thing is so cool I've never seen anything like that.

yeah my radio shack pos ear goggles finally busted so i need some new ones (you gettin this santa?). the xgs is incredibly cool. the book that comes with it takes you from "this is electricity" to teaching you how to design your own console (!!!) to holding your hand while you program it, all for less than $150. ill. they're selling a more advanced kit now (think NES instead of Atari2600) but it's more about teaching you how to make games. first i want to know the basics, then i'll get crazy. =)

I know it's not what you all are looking for- but the Korg ES-1 has perfect dedicated pitch/time control knob- one of the many things I like about it. I like them as a pair (404 and ES-1) though the ES-1 is 32KHz. Hooking up my Repeater and EDP next...
