Lo-Fi 1 is my go to setting on the 202. It adds the "sizzle" to your drums and samples. Lo-Fi 2 is a bit muffled in my opinion. I've rarely used Lo-Fi 2 in my 12 plus years of using the SP '02.

Yeah Lo-Fi 1 is much better sounding. I don't think i have recorded on Lo-Fi 2 ever.
