just got my hands on another copy of tip's amplified, after i lost my original copy from back when i was a lil kid. It's been one of my favorite hip hop albums for a long long time. I think it's incredible how jay dee and tip managed to turn straight raw dope breaks into club bangers. The album is one of the most unique in hip hop history in my opinion of course. Im yet to hear real raw hip hop that has the sound this album captures. Its so f***in funky.

Any Thoughts?

Haven't actually given this one a chance, but Let's Ride and Breathe and Stop are dope, plus you can't lose with Tip and Dilla on the boards.

tip's second release "the renaissance" is also real dope. it proves that good hiphop can still be made, plus the cover rocks!

Renaissance is nice. I remember being really into that album- Move still blows my mind. How the fuck did Dilla get that out of Dancing Machine?

^^^ yeah no doubt, that songs is real dope. i got that LP on wax the day it came out. both are real solid albums!
