So, I was wondering if it mattered if I used a double sided 3.5mm cable vs a 3.5/RCA cable for sampling from my TV and such. Does it matter? Sorry for such a newb question, just didn't find an answer anywhere :P

I used a mini jack to phono lead to get some vocal samples off my TV, didn't seem to hurt

The mic input is mono, the rear RCA inputs are stereo.
