Sounds like computer loaded samples onto the wrong kind of card. Its either the wrong quality of wav files or the card. I had the problem when I first got mine.
I found sometimes a certain audio file converter program made my samples go all crackly.. so step one, check what they sound like on the computer before u put them on the card .
from there, I would see if u can find a different card to try.. You can try formatting your card again too I guess that might help
formatting the card didnt help - i usually render with fl studio & never had issues , but suddenly after turnin my sp the pads started makin noise i#m runnin out of ideas
Does the SP sample OK? Instead of loading samples...just try sampling using the mic or externals. Does it crackle then?
Wavs have lots of different bitrates and that could possibly be the problem. Ive had some drums sample packs with really low quality wavs that crackled when loaded into the SP. Full quality wavs should work fine.
I'm not an expert on cards. There are plenty of threads on which ones are the right ones to get. I had a couple I got cheap on ebay that were not among the recomended ones and had the crackle problem then.
