decided to keep up de habit of AT LEAST 3 beats a day for 3 weeks
HERE ARE THE PRELIMINARY RESULTS! Give tha Drummer None coming soon via Mello Music Group 2012!
video is very creative and beats are fresh, what I don't understand is when you are bouncing your beats to your DAW it looks like you are recording 2 different tracks at the same time... as far as I know SP's do not have separate outputs... I assume this is video editing?
thanks ya'll!
shortly after this video...2/8 SP buttons stopped workin
but im still tryna put out 6-button bngers-new projects on the way! http://www.nicktha1da.com
ellag - ill track you played on tha "Le Ici" vid
Loco! i use good ol fashioned cool edit [open new stereo file]
record straight from SP [no editing tricks!]
real mono [i.e. record/players] stronger one one side than the other
usually copy and paste the stonger side to both for that knock [shhhhhhh]

OT
you know what? i use an old version of cool edit too! this is from '99, a friend of mine gave me when i was still in italy at the time, running a 10mb pc...i still use cool edit in common with acid 2.0 and sound forge 4.5...they're old softwares but they sound cool to my ears!...now i'm in trouble with win7, maybe i have tou use XP mode...

Now I understand, first impression was 2 separate mono tracks 1 for drums and 2nd for melody... that's why I asked... but cool! great video and beats are on point... so sad to heard about your 2 pads tho... I would like to suggest to open the SP and try to see if it got some humidity, maybe the time that it was in the freezer was bad for him...
oooh nah...pads/system been hurtin for a minute
went to get it repaired & he said no charge-couldn't be fixed
actual senor pad is pressed so far in would need replacement
[more $$$ than another sp of course]
did a few more videos/shows the next day
and they stopped releasing immediately...ultra-wack
ppl keep tellin me a maschine-but what about da BAWSE Dr. Sample?!
I also had the button problem but with 1and 5 it was a drag, so i traded the 303 for a microkorg xl and started learning the sp 606.
the 606 only has 4 note polyphony so i record into ableton and layer drums, chops, synth etc.
i dunno if i would go as far as getting a maschine seems like a lot of dinero for some software and a midi controller
dope video tho, made me want the 303 again. stay up.subscribed (microP00K)

nahhh, then try the 505 bro... I used to have the 303 and I love it but then I tried the 505 and man... this is the shit! besides you can still using your SM cards and load your sounds from your 303... I have several MPCs but at this time I'm only using the 505 for this project that I'm working and beats sound awesome to me.
