Good shit, they banned me too within 24 hours after registration. It shocked me at first but then I emailed them a heated letter and they rejected it, maybe they read it maybe not but I used every word in Satan's bible at them.

Thanks for the support guys...guess this is my new home. Took me 7 years to get banned from KVR...guess my more free and expressive self was the culprit. Oh well...

Clinton was the first black pres.

edit; just kidding, but coming from a black majority city (being white and fitting with whomever i wanted) I would say that most hyper sensitive whites (about the race issue) are fundementally racist, just like homophobes who go both ways or preachers who have affairs.

the n-word is still taboo though.

i posted first and then read, shame on me.

how dare you speak ill of Oprah (shhh. she has people everywhere)!
Now people who make music (only) for money are lame. Sample any damn thing you like, make money on it, then give it all to cancer research or fighting aids in africa. Sample U2. I bet Bono's old ass won't go Lars on ya if you give the $ away.

Then again, don't fuck with the edge.

I encouraged discussion of sampling and stated my stance on it, which is that sampling is a definite case-by-case 'offense' that should be treated as such. I personally feel that creative sampling should go unpunished if the original artist being sampled can't even recognize what's been stolen either by way of sampling so little that there's not enough to recognize or if the sample itself has been mangled so much that there's no realy way to identify it (sort of like knocking out all the teeth of a corpse after burning it). I *DO* believe in documentation of samples used, especially on somewhat official releases. I *DO* believe sampling shouldn't be illegal if money is not being made on material sampled. The idea of illegal sampling implies that one is going to take someone else's work and make money off it (it's all about money, screw the 'intellectual' aspect..let's be honest!) which obviously isn't the case when releasing free music.
