this kind of works, but i dont know the exact pitch to be 45 rpm.
1. speed up your sample with an mpc or frutiy loops or whatever.
2. sample it into your sample with lofi on.
3. drag the file back to your computer and slow it backk down.
boom,

I don't know much about computers since I don't really use them in my music so I'm not sure if this is a common feature in DAWs but Audacity can automatically speed up audio from 33 to 45 and vice versa. From my experience it sounds pretty accurate

I do this with the sampletrak and sp-404...pitch up on ST, record to sp-404 as lofi, record it back into the st at std fidelity and then pitch down...

Everybody knows the 45 rpm trick that Lodger mentioned. Originated by the Shocklee brothers, Ced Gee, and/or Paul C while using the SP-12(00).
I have achieved excellent results with this technique using the ST-224. Sample a 33 1/3 LP at 45 rpm with the pitch slider on your turntable at +8. Using the Edit wheel and pitch function in the unit, you can de-tune your sample to achieve that SP-1200 "sizzle".
I've also tried this on the SP-202 by sampling at 45 rpm w/ +8 on the pitch slider in Lo-Fi 1 mode and the results were extremely thick.
On the 303, sample in Long or Lo-Fi and re-sample with MFX-14.

alright my fellow sp forumers.
these samples were sped up to 45 and sampled into my sp 404 with lofi mode on, I then drug them back into my computer and sped them back down.
I made this packk with love .and cleaned them up , enjoy, ps let me know how accurate they sound.

oh shit just flipped thru them they sound like trash sorry,
:edit: I ran a batch script over the entire pack with a cassete tape frequencie responce. it should be a little less harsh on your cerebellum, it barely passes the cerebullum test, a nother tape bounce might be neccecary, all feedback is welcome to improve the emulation of 12 bit sound.

if u wanna make it 12 bit quickest just use a bit reduction plugin...
speeding up then sampling then slowing down alters the samplerate, not bitrate. (if u turn lofi mode on it alters the bitrate a bit as well as further altering the samplerate)
