Quantizning not working on sp-404 but working on sp-303??

I would like to buy sp-404 but when I show this video I have some doubt. Quantizning on sp-404SPX is a fiction??

no quantisation is not a fiction on the 404 sx!!
in the video he doesn't play on time quantisation is not a magician!!!

the 404 drumming was just bad. it helps fix mistakes but doesnt make bad drumming better drumming.

yeah, quantise moves the note to the closest 16th (or whatever quantise setting you choose) either forward or backward.. so if u are more than half a 16th late, it will move forward to the next 16th division not back, and vice versa

Last thing - If I play and record drums (almost right) and I set quantise - my recordable drums will be right (in point) or quantise option nothing change? Drums must be very precision - point to point (every milisecond is important).

it will sound robotic, just practice with out the quantize.
you will get the hang of it
i used the quantize alot, but got bored of the the sound of it.
