Im not sure if we wer lookin for drum kits but thanks to the guy who posted it..

I made a track for you guys this morning....

So i found one of my secret breaks on a 45 and posted the original break in the begining then dropped it down to 33rpm....applied reverb and looped a part of the break,....the sp505 adjusted my drum tempo to this sample i found, was only off by 2 bpm

second break is my chopping it like fauna said ,autochop or whatever, with me adjusting the hits....i just dont like how it converts stereo samples to mono in order to chop.

so here it is...besides reverb...only vinyl sim on the drums, only bad is compression brings out ur mistakes whether wrong tempo or bad chops...but once u throw a sample on top u cant notice at all...

i just tested it and it works, the only reason I use zip is because my server can unzip them and zip directories, try again it most definetly works , and keep your eyes peeled in the library section for my entire custom library I created over the last couple days, totalling over 10 000 tape drum chops and lofi sp chops .

cart, if it's any help, i'll tell you how i made this beat(my battle #97 submission).
http://soundcloud.com/limpyloo/bassliner
song was made using sp-303 99-bar ghetto sequencer (got a couple other names, which i forget).
snare = self-explanatory. quantized.
2 kicks = used 1 soft and 1 loud, a la pete rock. quantized to triplet feel.
"hi-hats" = 2 diff samples of some percussion instr. (sounds like triangle but was probably some sort of bell). one sample is "ding-a" and the other "ding". I pretty much set bpm of song so that "ding-a" was in time. quantize them and you get "ding-a ding".
there's also a scraping whooshing thing and a backwards whooshing thing, but those would take a while to break down (i'll do it if someone asks, tho).

anyway, hope this furthers the cause an inch or two.

P.S. Thanks a bunch for the up's, Pete.

Since it wasn't mentioned, I'll post this for the 505 and 606 users.

Nondestructive Chop - Copy a break or sample to the Clipboard and copy it to as many pads you like and just adjust the start and end points of each pad manually. You'll get that JJOS or MV style of chopping.

^ yep, this is also useful on the S555 using "copy pad" , or using the looper to just capture the section you want and paste.

I've been doing this lately, pretty easy when you can see the wavform. :D
