Was wondering what to apply first on achieved beats. MFX 14 or Vinyl Sim
When sampling I already use "Long" . But as i want the sound to be Gritty, when track is over I use Fx 14.
Please advice

Some ill beats on the Soundcloud!! Experiment with both Long and Lo-Fi modes and resample with mfx 14 (Lo-fi) and compressor. You should be good to go!!

I would compress at the end, lofi beforehand but yeah it's up to taste.
Hell try LoFi - compress - Lofi again, probably be gritty as dirt.

Thx guys . I think I'll go for :
Sampling with "Long" mode
Add Vinyl Sim (Comp+Noise)
& then use MFX 14 with the right set to make it sound like back in the days SP 1200 produced Hip-Hop. gritty and ringy !!
Regarding Compression on Vinyl Sim i set it right in the middle usually. i may try to push a little more...
