Battle #95 Spaghetti funk

Post by Auqs »

Well, I hope the main sample is ok for everyone, otherwise I can upload a different sample with no problems, the track is "Intermezzino Pop" (1970) of the Italian composer Ennio Morricone (does anyone know him???).

For drums, you can use both breaks** I put in the compressed folder (let me know if there are any problems).

*The Isley Brothers - Footsteps in the Dark
**The Silhouettes - Fonky first.

Samples on Box.net:

Sample: http://www.box.net/shared/tz5isdg3i89ijb40fyep

Drum 1: http://www.box.net/shared/gimbx4edlchnq2kg3sjr
Drum 2: http://www.box.net/shared/dn5oqyj3pig68gfj1pm7

The battle ends Friday evening/night when I'll put the poll, okay??

thanks Mellow! I love bossanova too but honestly I didn't know nicola Conte, but from what I hear he's very talented, I think I'll hear something of his music.
Morricone like houseofninjas says has composed many soundtracks, mostly westerns and crime/gangsters films (some Tarantino movies too), but he is a very gifted composer, his music ranged over a wide variety of musical genres including even the bossanova.

I think so too Count, if you all agree it might extend the deadline.
I think it would be good to have at least 4 / 5 days to make the beats and collect as much as possible, it could reduce the length of the polls if all voted in a short time.
