EXT source on gate

all of a sudden the ext source on my 404 turns off when i let go of the pad. could make for a manual slicer effect or a mute button while scratching... but i don't know how i did it. has this ever happened to anybody?

does 'gate' button light when you hold 'ext source'? (if so it shouldn't obv)

either that or sometimes when i record patterns and turn 'ext source' on and off during, it records that

hmm.. i didn't check to see if the gate light was on, but i know it's never happened before because i couldn't figure out how to make it stop. i turned the sp off and on and everything was back to normal. I wonder if there is a command for this, or if it was just acting weird.

my ext source gates on and off when I hit gate, It is better than the 303 ext source gate

and this is how new tricks are discovered lol.. never thought about gating the ext.. does sub pad work for ext as well? hmm

yeah ive used it for scratching before its pretty dope.

no the ext source does not work w the sub pad!
