How do i DELETE a track without deleting the whole pattern???

You can press edit on the pattern screen, then micro. Hit the track you want to edit. You will then see the "events" (notes) recorded to each track. Highlight the note to hear it. You can delete certain notes or everything...

I was able to delete the track just fine...but the button is still lit!!! (I am deleted track 3, but the sequencer track button is still lit...right above the "play" button...

shouldn't that light be gone if I delete track 3???

The same thing happens to me as well, but all the performance data on the track is deleted. I guess you will have to note that the track is empty even though it is lit.

Also, if you are trying to erase a track you just recorded, you can press [FUNC] and the l<</undo button on the sequencer. This will make it so the track light is unlit, but it only works for tracks that you have just recorded onto the sp.

It kinda sucks that you can't turn that light off...

I like to keep my production area, screens and hardware CLEAN...
