yeasterday , for the hell of it, I dug out an old hard drive that from my old computer, I remembered I deleted all the files off it, but I wanted them back, ALL 50,000 + of them 10 GB of drum hits, these are just the waves that turned up in the forensic search and i recovered 99.3% of them after formatting my hard drive twice. So yeah i need to learn how to man handle thousands of files, I might have to run a shell script to first organize them into folders by size, delete anything ver 200 kb get rid of all the the horrible multi sampled trumpets and oboes. second would be to run a shell script to organize the files into folders. eg all snares to snare folder and all kicks to kick folder, then I will be stuck with the randomly named files which only god himself will be able to sort. anyway Ill upload all of them, but i dont want 1 directory with 50 thousand drums hits.
