Peak light and Samples cutting off

Peak light and Samples cutting off

is the peak light the reason when i resample things some of the samples cut off while i'm playing/recording my beat?

running out of memory would do that, though.

i mean, the drum look i played required me to press more 4 buttons within the span of less than 2 seconds....but i play that drum loop with another sample over it (one button at a time, MAYBE two for a SPLIT second) and it cuts off!

polyphony? remember that stereo sample counts as 2 for polyphony

and you can only resample 4 voices at a time, which would mean two stereo tracks max it out
