if you have heat problems like me try this, get an ironing board and rip all the foam out and the cover, and see if it is a wire frame metal mesh type pattern, put your computer on that and it can breath and stays super duper cool.

I have one of those laptops with the fan on the side. Not trying to brag but your post made me realize that i had it, honestly. Never really paid attention. But think about it, why in the fuck would laptops be built with the fan on the buttom. Thats like putting the fan on the bottom of a desktop computer. Or putting the reciever for a remote on the back of the TV. Unless laptops could levitate, why in the fuck would it be on the bottom?

well mine has a air intake on the side, but the exhaust is on the bottom it has feet that elevate it a bit, but the warm are lingers and heats up my computer so hot it burns my hands.

now it stays cool and runs way faster.

It is called Laptop Cooling Pad, I always recommend to my clients to buy one of this, basically it is a pad with a fan that you connect via USB, it improves the air flow 100% helping your laptop run at best performance...

Ive seen those pads, considered buying one but i didnt want to put out the money and it was at wal-mart. I guess i should get one. I work on a laptop like all day.

^^ Bro, they really work, just make sure to buy a known brand, like Belkin or something else... but don't get the cheapest one, it is a good invest, I know what I'm talking about...

The one that I posted here it is a very good one, design permit a good airflow under the laptop and the cooler it is powerful enough to keep your laptop running okay all day long...

I like my lap toasty.. coarse I'm not planning on having kids so dont have to worry bout the other issues

Actually my new lappy runs only warmish, not like my macbook that would leave red marks..

I have intakes on the bottom and then a vent on the side where it flows out.. doesnt matter if the fan is on the side blowing out, or on the bottom sucking in.. still get the same airflow

and yeah the little feet give it plenty of room to breathe.. also some laptops breather through the keyboard

just watch out if ur using it on your lap/watever that wherever your vents are you dont block them.

i try to minimize contanct with it because it uses bio feed back technology with x ray and 3d image scanning even if you cover your camera and disable your mic, i want to get an external keyboard because it feels like it is taking my tempurture and measuring my heartbeat while microwaving my bone marrow
